"Moonsurge" on exhibit at WomanKraft Gallery in Tucson

Looking Up/Looking Down is the theme of the current exhibition at WomanKraft Gallery in Tucson [http://www.womankraft.org/]. You are invited to drop by and experience these shifting perspectives that beckon and startle.

"Moonsurge" has been selected as part of this summer display. "Look up!" it whispers; "Look up!" it shouts.

In this season of thunderstorms and misty magic, moonlight glances off the amorphous edges of clouds with a sense of urgency and expectation. Under our feet, dry earth reaches skyward. We tilt our heads back, hearts open in awe. This is what we came for.

Back Alley Gallery opening event

The opening event at the Back Alley Gallery on Saturday, April 5 was great fun. Even if you missed it, you still have a chance to take in the show; it will be on display throughout the month of April.

Enjoying the show!

There was lots of talk and laughter in addition to enjoyment of the work.

OPEN AIR - Exhibition at the Back Alley Gallery in Oracle, Arizona

I will be showing paintings at the Back Alley Gallery in Oracle, Arizona during the month of April, 2008.

This will be a two-person show with fellow artist Beth Krueger. Beth is a photographer with a great love of trains. She is also drawn to the artifacts of industry: silos, mining sites, steel mills. Her work invites the viewer to contemplate how these contribute to a sense of place.

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

YOU ARE INVITED!
